Production and Reflection

The book is a plea for the unity of theory and practice. It sheds light on shifts in theoretical concepts and examines the current situation from different perspectives, drawing our attention to alternative strategies and models of integrated thought and action within the creative process.

The Städelschule für Baukunst foundation was set up in 2001 by Günter Bock, professor and former head of the architecture school at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main. The foundation aims to observe, research and scientifically analyze the changing relationship between landscape, architecture, design and art.

Luise King
Architect and professor of Urban Design at the Technical University in Berlin 1987-2005. Since 2001 she has been a member of the council of the "Städelschule für Baukunst" foundation.
