The Trifolion is a five-storey building which was designed by the architecture office Niederweis (Ros Peter) in Echternach. It is equipped with a, after the latest technical knowledge acoustical sepperated, for live-events, live- and cd-recordings designed concert hall. The concert hall features a in height and size variable and independent adjustable stage which provides enough room for a orchestral ensemble of 120 musicians, a conferenceboard and presentations. Besides Orchestra concerts, all genres like theatre, cabaret, chamber music and so forth are to be performed.

The total area (including music school) amounts to 8500 sqm, of which slightly more than 1900 sqm fall upon the following eight areas: atrium, agora, foyer, janus-hall, the conference rooms as well as a room for workshops (business centre).
