Culinary delights at Castle Velden

Gourmet Restaurant "Schlossstern"
Restaurant "Schlossstern" is the exclusive restaurant at the castle. There are 60 seats inside and a further 12 on the balcony in the summer months. Guests are treated to a gorgeous view of the Wörther Lake and seduced by Mediterranean and regional delicacies at lunch and dinner time. The decor of the restaurant combines the traditional and modern with sensitivity and is aesthetically pleasing. Restaurant "Schlossstern" is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm - 2pm, and every day in the evenings from 6pm - 10pm.

Restaurant "Seespitz" on the Lake
With its unique location on the western point of the lake shore, the lake restaurant Seespitz boasts a panoramic view over the whole lake and the surrounding mountain peaks. A modern interior as well as contemporary comfort create the perfect space to relax and enjoy and to allow the palate to be tantalised with European and Asian creations. Inviting couches and arm chairs are provided for those who desire extra comfort. 60 seats inside and a further 80 on the expansive terrace are available to while away the time. The restaurant is open daily from 7am - 10:30pm, after which snacks are served until the last guest has left.

"Schloss Bar" - the castle bar
The castle bar and lounge are located in the entrance area of the hotel and gives guests a first impressions of a well thought through, uncomplicated, warm, gastronomic concept. The lounge and the bar have a light, radiant atmosphere; visitors feel comfortable and like to spend time here. It is inviting to linger in the bar and its lounge and watch the goings on of the historic castle and to soak in the atmosphere. The lounge has 35 seats, the bar area has 50 seats and, in good weather, there are a further 48 seats on the terrace
