Meeting these high expectations in a 100,000sqm building on a busy urban site near the centre of Dublin, and a 10,000sqm facility in the suburbs will challenge the architects’ experience of children’s hospitals and innovative thinking about sustainable urban design.

As part of the commission, the architectural team will also develop the design for an adjacent Maternity Hospital as well as an additional Maternity Hospital and Ambulatory Care / Urgent Care Centre at Tallaght which serves patients southwest of Dublin.
