Project Overview
Marina Bay Sands, Singapore The Integrated Resort is a microcosm of a city. It is a district, not a project. It must possess all the attributes that have made cities great. Historic cities always possessed a clear hierarchy of urban place - Greek and Roman cities were organized about the Cardo Maximus and Decomanus, the monumental axes; and Chinese cities likewise, were structured around classical constructs of the courtyard and the wall. The Marina Bay Sands is similarly organized about a contemporary equivalent of principal axes. Client:
