Architecture/Concept
Situation - Architecture - Concept The Arkady Pankrac is outstandingly embedded into the traffic infrastructure. More than 1 million people can reach the shopping centre within 30 minutes. Approximately 1.100 parking lots are available for the car drivers, which comfortably can get to the Arkady Pankrac over the highway 5. kvetna. In addition, the gallery is directly connected to the metro station and several bus lines. Big glazed surfaces are opening the mall to the outside, appearing to be transparent and airy. Furthermore an office tower with modern and flexible office space is planned to be built next to the Arkady Pankrac. About 95 percent of the mall was already rented. Closing neogtiations are conducted for the remaining spaces. Partners of the project with an investment volume of 3 billion crowns / 100 milion EUR are Unibail-Rodamco and ECE Projektmanagement. The shopping mall is being opened in fall 2008 and generates approx. 2.000 new jobs in prague. Strabag is responsible for the construction work as a general contractor. "The demand for retail areas in the Arkady Pancrac is very high", says Josef Tobek, the chief executive of ECE Praha. "I can say, without exaggeration, that we took the best shops to Pankrac." The biggest leaser of the Arkady Pankrac are the fashion shops Peek & Cloppenburg, H&M, New Yorker and the Inditex-group with Zara, Zara Kids, Pull & Bear, Stradivarius, Massimo Dutti and Bershka. The electric shops Datart and the supermarket Interspar with an elevated choice of goods completes the group of anchor tenants. Several international and Czech trademarks are featured in the Arkady Pankrac. Sportissimo, Rockpoint, Puma, Adidas, Nike and Reebok provide a wide range of sports goods. The range of offered shoes in the shops of Salamander, Humanic, Deichman, Gabor, Destroy and Beltissimo isn't smaller either. Jeans-shops of Mustang, Levi's, Pepe Jeans, Marlboro Classics and G-Star as well as fashion shops of Esprit, Guess by Marciano, Biba a Bugatti, Mango, Reserved, s. Oliver, Gerry Weber, Promod, Marc O'Polo, Gant, Murphy & Nye, Tally Weil and several other trademarks leave nothig to be desired. The perfumeries of Douglas and Sephore arrange provide a good smell. |
