Project Overview
Fuksas Zenith Amiens, France The building was designed as an architectural element like a sculpture, autonomous. Adaptation to the needs of the "Zenith", the building also reveals its role emblematic of room for performances, a playful space. The volume is impressive with light using a membrane stretched across the elliptical rings that are screwed around the structure. Materials are simple and elegant: canvas, steel and cement for the structure. The exterior finish is a PVC membrane in the mass pigmented red. Coverage below room for performances is a set of hemispheres holes which act as thermal and acoustic insulation. A polyester fabric, covered with PVC "double face" covers the entire building at the same time allowing the spread of a faint red light in the lobby and public areas. Client:
