Energy
The Development has been designed to ensure energy efficiency in use and where possible makes provision for the use of the maximum renewable energy sources. The Development shall be capable of demonstrating energy efficiency in use and construction. The design makes use of natural daylight, heat transfer from primary spaces and occupants in order to reduce energy consumption throughout the year.

Environmental Impact
Materials have been selected based on their environmental impact during manufacture, construction, life cycle and disposal of each product or element.

Recycling:
Recycling of materials during construction, operation and on demolition of the Development shall be encouraged. Provision shall be made within the design to enable paper, cardboard, metal and plastics to be collected and recycled. Materials have been selected with post-demolition re-cyclability in mind.
