On the first floor a central inner courtyard is constructed, with a seperate access from the Überseeplatz via a broad staircase. Around this courtyard the hotel foyer with the lobby bar, the conference area and the ballroom with its related pre-functions is arranged. For the convenience of the conference guests a business centre, wardrobes and toilet rooms are connected to the public hotel areas. In addition the nearby prearrangement kitchen and storage rooms ensure a smooth service.

On the south side of the inner courtyard rises the second level of the cruise terminal, including the gangways and the waiting area for the passengers. Off-time the operating hours of the terminal these rooms can alternatively be used for different events. In agreement with the terminal operator the hotel kitchen couldprovide the catering for the cruise passengers, too. With a clearance of ca. 6m the proportions of the first level rooms are pleasurable broad.

The inner courtyard is the central and silent midpoint of the building. It offers a direct access from the hotel lobby with lounge and the conference area. The "back of house" part is split by a mezzanine in two levels. They accommodate the administration, the social rooms for the employees and the central building services and storage areas.

The terrace area on level 3 houses a broadminded restaurant with a panoramic view from the Überseeplatz towards the Science Centre, the cruise liners and across he Elbe to the docks along the south bank. In front of the restaurant the generous terrace is considered to be used by the restaurant itself, as a sun deck and as an observation platform for the arriving and leaving cruisers. The restaurant kitchen with its associated rooms borders to the guest area and on the other side to the load elevators, which connect the delivery areas and the hotel levels.

Furthermore the 3rd level provides a fitness centre with pool, spa and gym. This area also offers a terrace that invites to relax.

According to the current design the 5 stories above the terrace accomodate 431 hotel rooms, 382 are standard rooms, 22 executive rooms, 22 junior suites, 4 executive suites and one is a presidential suite. Depending on the individual concept of the hotel operator this partitioning is changable. The layout of the hotel levels is designed in a way that each room can provide an impressive view: the majority is facing the Elbe, the Überseeplatz or the new Elb-Philharmonics. By its extensions and squares the corridors offer an exiting atmosphere; at the same time the distances stay short and clearly arranged. Broad floor openings enclose the central elevator core and faciliate a natural and central illumination of the corridors.
