Facade

The climatic and atmospheric hull has openings at regular intervals. This creates an open and continuous space towards the inside in which the various facilities of the Cité du Design are arranged. These facilities are: the agora, the exhibition and seminar plateaux, the green house, the auditorium, the mediadisque, the restaurant and the mediatheque.

So the Cité integrates itself into the former factory plant. There is an inter-play between the existing buildings and outhouses and this is a catalyst for the interaction of the various elements.
