Utility

The Cité du Design is a place for information and communication, education and research, experimentation and presentation and for the provision of service and resources. It is this approach to integration that sets it apart from all other international design institutes.

The interior and the organisation of the Cité du Design do not represent a rigid and closed off institution. Rather it can be seen as an organism that, through its use, develops from the inside out. This developmental process also finds expression spatially.
