6th August 2007 was the opening day of the five star hotel Capella Castlematyr in Cork County, Ireland. Capella Castlemartyr is located in the middle of a countrified scenery, surrounded by 90 hectare of land. It's an Irish castle legend built in the 17th century, enclosing an 1000 years old castle ruin.

The guests can reside in 109 suits with a plane between 47 qm and 279 qm each. 85 standard suits, eleven suits in former lordship-chambers as well as a president suite we're generously and comfortable furnished. Admirer of fresh air can cave in their desire for exercise at a 18 hole golf court. This generous golf court was designed by Ron Kirby and is considered to be a challenge for all players. The golf court will be enlarged by 9 holes and a hotel's owned clubhouse.
