PIFF Canal Park and PIFF Hill

PIFF Hill
The PIFF Hill encompasses the open air cinemas, exhibition area, congress halls, the PIFF Center, the PIFF Office and the Center for Visual Media. Due to its flexible organisation it can cope with all the demands during festival times as well as the everyday running of the center.

PIFF Canal Park
The envisaged idea for the Canal Park is a continuation of the loose network of events in the planed riverside park and aims to weave together the river landscape with the cinema complex. A new pedestrian bridge will connect the Busan Cinema Center with the park south of the boulevard, as well as connecting the Double Cone with the APEC Park. An additional open air arena surrounded by water channels is suggested, so that private and public boats can access the area. An island between these water channels acts as a location for a future expansion of the Busan Cinema Center Project. Through this the cultural function of the Busan Cinema Center Project is integrated more and more into the surrounding open areas and the landscape.
