Situation

Located close to two steel high stoves and to market which accompanies it, the «Tower DEXIA» is the first one left a larger building complex which will be developped progressively and step-by-step until 2010.

This strong urban signal stands in dialog with the high stoves which will be restored as part of the realisation of a museum of sciences.

An university, a centre of conferences and more than 3000 accommodation are completing this complex. Belval will be the South Pole of Luxembourg, as well as Kirchberg forms the West Pole of this city.

In an area which was stamped by the ancient steel production just honours this whole building project of the shining past: its construction with structures from steel bearers and facades in which steel and enamel combine again.
