The new terminal at the international airport of Malaga is constructed on a rectangular plan. The roof is composed of several pyramids that are supported by heavy concrete columns. The transparent façade has a height varying between 12 and 25 m. It consists solely of vertically stressed cables which support the glass panels at their bar spacers. The façade has a total area of 25.000 m².
