Terminal building

The new terminal building has an L-shaped layout as a result of the u-shaped final layout plan. The landside facade is 223m in length; the depth of the building is fixed at 110 m in order to match with the depth of the existing building.

The expansion continues with the 2 level layout of the existing terminal with departures check-in and boarding lounges on the upper level and arrivals baggage claim and lounge below. The floor to floor height between the two levels make it possible to develop an intermediate mezzanine level for baggage handling. Above the departure check-in area, office spaces are provided for airline carriers, taking advantage of the great height provided by the roof structure. Mechanical, electrical, storage and service access complete the program at the basement level.
