Rose of the Desert, Oran Algeria

This project is located in Oran, Algeria. One of the advantages of the project is its location; the project is placed in a corner, which is accessed by two main roads. This benefits the design and allows to think about a great entrance.

Three design were used to premise the concept: cultural identity, sustainability and program optimization. These three were the design axis for this project. The design strategy and concept comes through the study of the rose of the desert. This way the project is divided into three main parts: a podium that is in contact with the ground, the main bodies (towers) that are rising to the sky in different heights and the interstices are the spaces that connect the base of the towers.

The program is divided into apartments and a commercial space. There are 318 apartments in the 3 towers. The ground floor has boutiques, restaurants terraces, supermarket and spa. There is also the green area and the pool in the recreational area.
