MEIKO-technology is everywhere in use where high standards to cleanness and hygiene are demanded. Excellent quality, outstanding technology and high customer value made the automatic dishwashers of Meiko to the most successful in the world. The specialists of Offenburg are always by a short head ahead and are doing everything to keep it that way.
Not only communal feeding, in restaurants, in hotels, staff restaurants, in hospitals and nursing homes but also worldwide complex systems at airline-catering, in all ICE-trains of the „Deutsche Bahn“, on cruise ships and at the VIP-Catering of the Formula 1 – MEIKO provides brilliant cleanness.
From the beginning, the production emphasis was washing technology in the commercial sector. Tens of thousands of MEIKOs automatic dishwashers are working around the world today. The production includes rinse-cycle-machines of the small EcoStar-Line, glass-dishwashers to efficient premium-dishwashers right up to market-leading baskettransport- and bondmachines.
The portfolio is completed by extraction technology, leftover-machines, canteen kitchen equipment like tables, shelves and cabinets. Meiko sets a course, we couldn’t imagine without.
For example, Meiko invented the first full-automatic dishwasher, clean-control-technology for automatic monitoring and control of all hygiene-relevant parameters of large-scaled machines and
- dishwashers. Heat recovery plants, which lead to cost reduction, the first jar-dishwashers came from MEIKO too, as well as the first salad- and vegetable washer.
Less energy, chemistry, environmental pollution and costs!
With its energy-, chemistry- and waterconserve-programs, which save, due to their revolutionary technology, up to 80% of its resources, MEIKO sets standards that aren’t easy to beat. For Meiko the boundaries of the technically doable don’t appear to be reached. Now – with the „water-conserving-technology EWS“ – a magnitude was found, highlighting an (at long sight) end of all rationalization efforts in terms of the rinse agents. Meiko managed to restrict the water consumption of all models of the „Punkt 2“-series to 2.6 litres per rinse cycle. Special impact is also taken by the sector of cleaning- and disinfection-machines for hospitals and asylums.
Quality made in Germany
The development and production is carried out in Offenburg, where approx. 850 staff members are employed. Quality made in Germany is a matter of course at the trademark MEIKO. The Meiko-subcompanies in the USA and China exclusively produce fort he american resp. chinese market. With 19 subcompanies and affiliated companies, as well as the worldwide distribution- and service-networks (besides the substitutions troughout Germany) Meiko operates at the market. The export rate adds up to over 50 percent.
With the slogan „Meiko – the world washes with this technology“, the company positions itself in the top flight at the wash- and cleaningtechnology and is market leader in selected market- and client segments.
