FREE FORM DESIGN GAINS MORE INFLUENCE IN ARCHITECTURE
The most spectacular project in the segment of so called free form design
is certainly the clubhouse of the Heasley Nine Bridges Golf Resort in South Korea:  Hasley Nine Bridges - South Korea The roof structure of the clubhouse in Yeoju covers an area of just over 2’500 square meters.It consists of 32 9×9 meters wide elements, which are supported on 21 columns. Although there are only five different types of elements in this design we, the Blumer-Lehmann AG, prefabricated 3.500 components with nearly 500 different shapes in Switzerland and sent them to South Korea to be erected. Blumer Lehmann AG is a timber company, which is very intensively engaged in the material “wood”. The fascination with this material has accompanied us for more than 135 years.
