The first 5-star-UEFA stadium of the Ukraine has been built in Donetsk in 2009. The stadium and its surrounding park reflect the ambition of the football club “Shakhtar Donetsk” to get to the top of the European football league. It strengthens the perception of the club, the town Donetsk and of the Ukraine itself.
