KEY AREAS OF WORK
The work of our office WES & Partner includes the design
of the architectural interior- and outdoor spaces: open space- and
object planning, urban green space- and landscape planning,
expert reports and urban projects, as well as art in public spaces.
We place a great deal of importance on all of the working phases,
imposing high standards regarding content, “artistic” quality, and
professional realisation. We have completed several projects as
master planners, including the International Horticultural Show 2003
in Rostock, the redesign of the Jungfernstieg in Hamburg, and the
station surroundings in Erfurt.
WES & Partner are also active internationally,
working on expert’s reports and competitions from Moscow
to Shanghai. In Utrecht we are presently working on the area
surrounding the Dutch Ministry of Transport and in Salzburg on
the extension of the Faculty for Humanities and Cultural Sciences.
In Spring 2006 we were awarded the 1st prize in the international
competition “Länsisatamanpuisto Jewel” in Helsinki.
We have also been working on realising large-scale projects in
China for more than eight years.
