ISH Kitchen+Bath Middle EastThe Leading Middle East Design Exhibition for Kitchens and Bathrooms Date: Autumn 2010 ISH Kitchen+Bath Middle East 2009 has been rescheduled completely. There will be no fair in 2009. Individual talks and strategic sessions with the key players in the sanitary and kitchen industries led to the conclusion that the timing for the upcoming ISH Kitchen and Bath Middle East edition, which was to be held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre from September 27-29, 2009, would instead be preferred in autumn 2010. The fair will be taking place at the same time as Light Middle East, ally planned. Epoc Messe Frankfurt GmbH are the organisers of both annual events, which are held at the International Exhibition Centre in Dubai. Whereas the product range at ISH Kitchen+Bath Middle East focuses on bathroom and kitchen fittings, Light Middle East presents lighting, intelligent light management systems and accessories. Dr. Michael Peters, Member of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt, explained the reason for postponing the fair: "Staging both trade shows together generates the necessary synergy, in terms of an integrated approach to the building, and boosts the fairs’ appeal to visitors and exhibitors alike". Not only does this synergy offer trade visitors an ideal, supplementary product range in one place, at the same time, but bundling the fairs together gives exhibitors access to a larger target group. When it comes to sustainable design and resource-saving solutions, the two events present all the major innovations and forward-looking products. "The benefits of an integrated approach to the building are evident, when it comes to achieving optimal results in the context of environmental protection and operating costs, especially in relation to the themes of sustainability and energy conservation," Michael Peters said. An extensive Green Building conference programme, which picks up on and explores the content of the product sectors in greater depth, adds to the appeal of the fairs. Entitled "Professional lighting for a more responsible future", the focal point of Light Middle East is Light Focus. Epoc Messe Frankfurt and the Professional Lighting Designers’ Association (PLDA) are the organisers. Messe Frankfurt is expecting some 90 exhibitors and 3,500 visitors, the same as for the previous event in 2008, to attend ISH Kitchen+Bath Middle East. Over 200 participating companies and approx. 4,700 fair guests are expected at Light Middle East.
