CER buyers and Chinese manufacturing plants have been keen to expand their businesses in China ever since the
Kyoto Protocol was adopted in 1997. This is not only because China currently has no pressure to reduce carbon emissions according to the protocol, but also because China has the largest inventory of emission reducing project options in the world. The deadline for the first Commitment Period (2008-2012) is now fast approaching; the
up-to-date carbon market insights and project information will be of greater importance for local plants owners and international CER buyers.
In response to this background, we are honored to present Lnoppen’s China CDM Summit 2009. Lnoppen is committed to creating a large platform for practitioners in the CDM sector from China and abroad to exchange information, network and conduct business in an interactive and productive environment.
