Strategies and Projects to Support Sustainable Development in RomaniaENREG 2012Energy saving achieved through energy efficiency is the cheapest energy
resource and the most advantageous for the environment. 2012 brings new
development and investment opportunities for energy efficiency from both
Romanians and foreigners. The European Commission grants this year a
special attention for energy efficiency in construction and renovation, and
because, in Romania there are many buildings that need rehabilitation, a
development of this field is required.
![]() Dates: 25 - 27 April 2012 The overall objective of the energy sector strategy, for 2007-2020, is the meeting energy needs now and also in the medium and long term. In Romania, the greatest emphasis is currently put on thermal rehabilitation of dwellings. A financed project in this area requires their envelope, strengthening and rehabilitation. The Government approved the support for thermal rehabilitation of dwellings and block of flats and decided that the Program for rehabilitation of block of flats, to continue in 2012. Also, in 2012 will be started the Program regarding structural and environmental rehabilitation of dwellings. The overall ceiling of guarantees for 2012, which can be issued for structural-architectural rehabilitation of dwellings is 100 million lei, and for the rehabilitation of block of flats, is 200 million lei. ENREG ENERGIA REGENERABILA®, trade fair on renewable energy and energy efficiency contributes to the development of this area and thus to sustainable development, coming back with the 4th edition, between 25 - 27 of April 2012, at Expo Arad International. The trade fair comes back with innovations from Romanian and international companies, bringing together the common interest that Romania, Hungary and Serbia have for renewable energy and energy efficiency.
In parallel with the trade fair will be organized the 3rd International Conference for Energy Efficiency in Building and Reconstruction in Romania & South- East Europe, on 25th of April 2012. The conference will debate subjects as:
