Converge at the first skyrise greenery meeting to build a sustainable urban environment. The inaugural International Skyrise Greenery Conference 2010 will present the latest technological developments and new areas of application in the field of rooftop greenery and vertical greenery. The theme "Surfaces of Creativity: Spaces of Delight" celebrates the creativity in greening urban surfaces and recognises the positive impact of these new surfaces to the city and its inhabitants. Gain a better understanding of current and new trends, technical and design considerations as well as the advantages of skyrise greenery from an international audience of experts and practitioners.

Emilio Ambasz (Emilio Ambasz & Associates, USA), Patrick Blanc (French National Centre for Scientific Research, France), Dr. Ken Yeang (Llewelyn Davies Yeang Yeang UK), Prof. Manfred Köhler (University Neubrandenburg, Germany), Roland Appl (International Green Roof Association) and John Alschuler (Friends of the Highline)

The comprehensive three-day programme will feature essential aspects of skyrise greenery:

• Specifications and installation of rooftop greenery and vertical greenery systems
• Technical studies of the benefits of skyrise greenery
• Integration of skyrise greenery with sustainable eco-processes
• Biodiversity enhancement, incentives and guidelines
• Site excursions to recent installations of skyrise greenery in Singapore including those not accessible to the public (e.g. the 1.2 ha sky park at Marina Bay Sands).
