Connecting China to the World: Technological and Operational Solutions in China Airports

5th Annual China Airport Summit

Date: 4-5 March, 2010
Location: Kai Wah Plaza International Hotel, Kunming, China

China has announced investments of RMB 400 billion in airport construction and expansion. With this investment, China will increase its number of civilian airports from 160 to 244 over the next two years. Airports in China handled over 400 million passengers last year, a 4.7% increase over the previous year. With the ever increasing number of passengers, China is currently seeking new technology to improve passenger satisfaction and make airports safer and more efficient. Through international cooperation, China will create one of the safest and most efficient airport networks in the world.

The 2010 5th Annual China Airport Summit, organized by Noppen, taking place 4-5 March in Kunming will feature the most prominent industry leaders and government officials from across the globe providing informative and inspiring discussions. It will allow both speakers and attendees to hear and exchange the best solutions to problems addressing airports with top experts and discover new strategies that can be taken away and applied to individual airports across the world.

Major issues to be addressed at the 2010 event:

  • Airport developments in China
  • Constructing the modern airport
  • Increasing passenger satisfaction
  • Making airports run more efficiently through technology
  • Maximizing non-aeronautical revenue
  • How to secure your airport and ensure safety
  • The role of airport cities in China’s aeronautical development
  • Inter-Airport cooperation
