REECO Group, the renowned German organiser of trade fairs and conferences on Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency, is taking another step in its development. By organising an innovative event in Lisbon – RENEXPO^® Portugal – from 13 to 15 May 2010, REECO Group expands its activities to one of the most advanced markets in the world.

In Europe’s effort to curtail greenhouse gas emissions and develop more environment-friendly economies, Portugal is one of the countries that are leading the way. With a very ambitious program on Renewable Energies, Portugal now hosts the world’s largest wind, solar and wave farms. With extensive government support, the country is, therefore, one of the most attractive locations for companies seeking to explore the important and fast-growing markets of Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency.

Naturally, REECO Group is aware of these developments and, from May 13th to 15th, 2010, will organise RENEXPO^® Portugal, the country’s first event exclusively dedicated to Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency. With a trade fair being simultaneously held with several international conferences, this event was envisaged to be a central information platform for the Iberian Peninsula and Portuguese-speaking countries. At the event, visitors will be in direct contact with the products, services, technologies and the most recent innovations in the sector. The conferences will be a privileged discussion space between researchers, entrepreneurs, decision-makers and specialists, where the latest tendencies will be debated.

RENEXPO^® Portugal will integrate all the relevant topics regarding Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency – from alternative energy sources to building renovation. Held at the historical Portuguese capital, Lisbon – one of the most welcoming places for hosting international trade fairs and conferences – RENEXPO^® Portugal aims to be the leading event on Southwest Europe’s Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency sector.

RENEXPO^® Portugal is based on the concept of the originial RENEXPO^® set annually in Augsburg, Germany.
