UIA TOKYO 2011 invites architects, engineers, researchers and students all over the world to express their opinions on the congress theme DESIGN 2050 according to the three sub-themes: Environment, Cultural Exchange, Life. The UIA Congress stages from 25-29 Sept. 2011 in Tokyo.

The CTBUH announced the winners of the "Best Tall Building" awards. 2010 the outstanding tall buildings from each of four geographical regions are: Bank of America Tower, New York; The Pinnacle @ Duxton, Singapore; Broadcasting Place, Leeds; and Burj Khalifa, Dubai.
