Prime Property Award 2012

Awarded for the first time in 2008, under the aegis of the International Union of Architects, this Award enjoys growing success. It rewards and highlights completed projects in Europe that incorporate sustainable architecture, socio-cultural sustainability and commercial success, three key factors for the viable future of the real estate industry.

The aim of the 2012 Prime Property Award is to identify the best practice of sustainable development and make them known to the professionals and the general public.

Participation
The prize is open to architects and town planners together with investors and promoters who are invited to submit projects completed between 2006 and 2011. Completed works of a minimum surface of 5000 sqm can be new constructions or refurbishments located in any of the European countries.

The selection is made in two stages. In the first stage, the jury shortlists about 30 projects for the second stage. The winners are selected by the jury from amongst these entries. The deadline for submitting projects is 15 December 2011.

Prizes
The prize fund totals 30 000 euros:
1st prize: 15 000 euros;
2nd prize: 10 000 euros;
3rd prize: 5 000 euros.
