The international WAN Awards are a major international awards programme, which runs on a bi-monthly format. The awards are subdivided in Sectors, Specialits and Interior categories. The first deadline ends on 29 February, the last on 31 December.

The 7th Biennal will take place in Barcelona, Spain in September 2012. The Biennal has expressed its desire to study and discuss landscape interventions. Deadline for presenting project's documentation is 30 March 2012.

One of the leading architecture awards in Europe, the Schindler Award, has its key aspect under the motto "Access for All". The challenge for architecture students and schools is to redesign one of Berne's areas. Deadline: 30 April 2012.
