The Almería airport is set to inaugurate the expansion of their building in
2010. The expansion incorporates indigenous materials, such as white Macael marble. The author of the project is the technical aeronautics engineer J. G. Gómez and the head design architect is L. G. Gil.

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, California, USA, has announced the finalists for the design of their expansion: Adjaye Associates, Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Foster + Partners, and Snøhetta. The selected firm will collaborate with SFMOMA to triple the size of the galleries.
