Gal Nauer Architects announced that their office has been commissioned to design the historic renovation and conversion of the Post Palais Hotel in Berlin. GNA's interior design goes beyond conventional hotel room design. The project is expected to be completed by the year-end 2012.
Portuguese Architect Eduardo Souto de Moura will be Laureate of the 2011 Pritzker Architecture Prize. The architecture’s highest honor will be presented in one of Washington, D.C.’s finest classical buildings, the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium on 2 June 2011.
The European Commission grants 2011 award of quot;"Communication" to Solar Decathlon Europe for "providing an excellent learning experience to university students and therefore fostering the research and innovation skills of European youth".
