Exhibition: 28 October until 4 December 2011
Location: Aedes Am Pfefferberg, Christinenstraße 18-19,
            10119 Berlin, Germany
Opening hours: Tu-Fr 11 a.m. - 6.30 p.m., Sa-Su 1 until 5 p.m.

The exhibition presents the project for Texcoco Lake Ecological Park of Iñaki Echeverria, architect and landscape urbanist based in Mexico City. Once completed it will become the world’s largest urban park with over 145,000,000 sq meters of public space and infrastructure. Lands formerly occupied by the Texcoco Lake can be reclaimed today as part of a new ecology that incorporates nature, culture and infrastructure: a Cultural Ecology. Other projects in the installation will draw a broader map of the recent activities of the office: the Papalote Verde Children´s Museum in Monterrey and the Tres Vidas House in Mexico City among others.

Speakers at the opening will be:
Dr. h.c. Kristin Feireiss, Aedes Berlin
S.E. Francisco N. González Díaz, Mexican ambassador in Germany
Carl Zillich, architect, Berlin
