Following the phenomenal success of the 2011 edition and in line with Qatar's vision of delivering the best ever world cup, Stadium and Venue Design and Development Qatar returns 03-06 June 2012 as the new and improved World Stadium Congress and Awards - Hosted in Qatar.

With massive preparation needed to deliver major global sporting events host cities must develop world-class stadiums that comply with a specific regulations and requirements. The congress will bring together industry experts to assist in the design and development of world-class Stadiums. They will meet influential members of host countries, government and local organising committees.

The FIFA 2022 World Cup has acted as a catalyst for sporting development in Qatar and with over 140 Stadiums currently under construction or nearing completion Doha is the perfect Venue to meet and discuss sport venue development.

World Stadium Congress Awards
The award will honor the outstanding achievements by leaders in the international stadium design and development industry who have contributed to the latest innovations in design, have paved new ways for venue functionality and technical ability and have develpped integrated masterplans and iconic sporting venues.

The awards categories are designed to recognise stadium architects, consultants, masterplanners, developers, engineers, and specialised solution providers. Nominations must be submitted in the required format specified above within each of the categories. Each company or individual can send nominations for as many categories as they deem fit, there is no limit how many awards you can nominate a project for.
